E-visa
As part of the facilitation of the current visa policy and to promote tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched the E-visa & E-tourist card website on 15 April 2019 in collaboration with the “VFS (Visa Facilitating Service) Global”. The E-visa & E-tourist card are mandatory travel documents for tourists traveling to Suriname.
This online E-visa application offers the visa holder and citizens of the countries that are eligible for a tourist card, the possibility to make their applications and the payment thereof entirely electronically. The issuing of a visa or tourist card is also done electronically by sending the E-Visa or E-Tourist card in pdf format to the email address of the applicant.
